Active Learning (Project-Based Learning)(V): learning by real-world applications. Students who are taught using this philosophy are involved in active learning experiences where they explore, question, or create solutions to everyday problems. Usually the outcome of this type of activity is a cumutative project or product by an individual or group. Many times, this type of learning encourages student input in the developement of activities and rubrics. Students at Conn are engaged in project-based learning during their modules, as well as in their content areas (math, reading, writing, science and social studies).
